This project explores the relationships and possibilities between The Third Tongue<\/em> and five other works featured in the special themed exhibition Fantasia of the Archives<\/a><\/em> at the Art Archives SeMA. It investigates counter-narratives by creating new meanings through innovative connections and compositions of video footage collected without specific intent since the early 2000s.<\/p>\n

Portraying Archives<\/em> seeks to reveal the potential of fragmented video clips that remained hidden on hard drives, never forming a complete work. By applying various formal techniques to these once-dismissed videos\u2014considered meaningless and passive\u2014and giving them seemingly unrelated titles, this approach encourages viewers to form new connections in their subconscious, fostering thinking that transcends conventional boundaries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
